Big ideas tend to come out of the Big Apple - Like the world's first underground park in the historic Lower East Side of Manhattan.
With a passion for urban exploration, the founders came up with the idea to turn an abandoned trolley station into an underground park using an innovative way to capture sunlight and filter it below ground using fiber optics.

Recognizing the need for funding and public support to realize the dream of an underground park, we interviewed foundations and representatives of the neighborhood to help inform the design and site architecture.
In close partnership with Chapas Design, we helped the Lowline team create a sitemap and a modern look and feel to help them continue their mission to create the world’s first underground park.
