Funded on ABC's Shark Tank
This one-of-a-kind electric trike is something only a toymaker could dream up (no really, the founder, Joe Wilcox, is a former toy designer at IDEO). With recent success on ABC's season finale of Shark Tank, the Sway team is well on its way to setting a new standard for urban transportation.
Over a four-year relationship and several versions of the website, we've watched as Joe went from a moonlighting entrepreneur with a day job at IDEO to going all in on his startup dream.

Design and code a mobile-friendly website to handle several hundred thousand visitors hitting the site in a matter of seconds when the show aired.
In addition, leverage this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to convert these users into investors and customers.
Gearing up for the appearance on Shark Tank, we redesigned and beefed up the website on Amazon Web Services to handle the traffic influx. Speed was critical - so the photo assets and underlying code were built to make the site load quickly and convert.
With this technology foundation in place, we then set about capturing the emails of visitors interested in the product to focus on the cultivation of customers and presales using Shopify.
Over the course of that evening alone, the list increased by 10,000%.
